Bokensha Announce Successful Kickstarter Funding for 'Vindictive Drive 2'

Bokensha Studio are pleased to celebrate being the first game studio from Uruguay to receive successful funding on Kickstarter!

Vindictive Drive 2: Maidbot Archive is a mecha musume bullet hell game with souls-like mechanics of exploration and boss hunting.

It features voice acting from industry veterans like Dayeanne Hutton (Life is Strange, Mystery Inc.), Jennifer Alyx (Azur Lane, Girls' Frontline), Abby Espiritu (Pokemon, YuGiOh!) as well as other rising stars and singers.

This game offers a fun loop that rewards learning each of the Maidbots' abilities alongside exploration in a post-apocalyptic city full of dangerous machines.

Maidbots escort the player as they venture deeper into the challenges the city provides, including an infinite dungeon with randomised levels - the Stygian Traverse - where the player is attacked by endless waves of enemies and bosses that get stronger and learn new skills.

The Maidbots have different personalities and abilities, so all players are bound to find their favorite among them both in aesthetic and gameplay!

"The Kickstarter campaign is going great, having gathered over 260% of the goal, and being the first game studio from Uruguay with a successful kickstarter campaign, which, despite it being a small goal, is still a big milestone for a new indie studio."

Bokensha are preparing a substantial update to celebrate this with their playerbase, featuring new popular anime & game voice actors from franchises like Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Goblin Slayer, Genshin Impact, and more.

Additionally, the studio are announcing a planned roster of 300 characters, an official cosplay collaboration with professional cosplayer Morgan Elise, a physical lore book, an official manga series, as well as original songs by the voice of Memorimo, Tanja Tjong.
