Bokensha Collaborate with Chaotic Helleaven for 'Vindictive Drive 2'

After their Kickstarter success, Bokensha Studio released a new character to the roster of 'Vindictive Drive 2: Maidbot Archive': Rika Helleaven, the protagonist of Chaotic Helleaven, a popular manga series on Webtoons.

This new character has a much greater level of production than the rest in the current build, with more dialogue and an animated cutscene where she eats the planet as part of her Ultimate skill.

'Vindictive Drive 2: Maidbot Archive' is a fast-paced bullet hell game with exploration and souls-like boss hunting elements.

The player controls a mech and is escorted by Maidbots, exploring a post-apocalyptic city infested with enemy machines and battleships to fight, combining fun builds and tactics to contain the invasion with their favorite Maidbot.

As a classic bullet hell game, it has challenging difficulty and encourages skillful mechanics, timing speed boosts to dodge attacks and position the character.

The game, currently in Early Access, features voice acting from popular talents from official anime dubs as well as TV & film.

After reaching over 260% of its goal and realising all stretch goals on Kickstarter, the project is now on the right budget to increase in scope, with their official song, manga, cosplay campaign and lorebook already in production.

This is the first collaboration of the franchise, and though it was worthy of celebration, it was obscured by the takedown of Chaotic Helleaven's channel on YouTube, and considering over 65k subscribers were lost, it had a very negative impact on the launch and several creators involved in the project were affected.
