Sea Monster Collaborate with U.S. Embassy in London on Interactive Novel

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, video game developer Sea Monster, in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in London, are proud to announce the launch of an interactive graphic novel video game: 'Heroes of WWII Uncovered'.

This initiative is a creative effort to raise awareness amongst youth about the significance of the historic alliance between the UK and United States to protect worldwide freedoms and democracy.

The interactive video game, which can be played via any web browser or mobile device, is designed to engage teenage and young adult audiences, enhancing their understanding of World War II’s critical events through the stories of notable figures and unsung heroes.

Players explore a great-grandparents' attic filled with old letters. By deciphering clues, players embark on a journey that reveals the impactful stories of WWII heroes:

  • Benjamin O. Davis Jr. and the Tuskegee airmen
  • Sonia D’Artois, a British undercover agent
  • Bill Blass, an artist working for the Ghost Army

Jane Hartley, U.S. Ambassador of Great Britain and Northern Ireland offered the following comments:

"This video game gives us the chance to learn some of the heroic stories of those who risked their lives to defend our freedom."
