Code of Conduct

By becoming a Game Developers Network Ltd (GDN) Member, you are agreeing to be bound by the following conditions and must ensure compliance.

The Spirit of GDN

Honest, open communication is the backbone of any effective partnership and our goal is for GDN to consist of highly professional and proactive companies who actively work together “within the spirit of GDN” which is to:

  • Sharing knowledge while upholding and honoring rights to intellectual property, ownership, and original creations.
  • Maintain regular contact, keep partners informed, and respond within 24 hours.
  • Be mindful, present skills accurately, and ensure that all parties are happy with the decisions made.
  • Pay invoices on time and in full.

1. Terms & Conditions

1.1 Your correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotions of companies found on or through Game Developers Network Ltd, including payment and delivery of related goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties, or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such company.

1.2 To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, by joining GDN you agree that: (a) Game Developers Network Ltd shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as the result of any such dealings or as the result of the presence of such companies on Game Developers Network Ltd, and (b) any orders placed by you on, and any product specifications and product availability appearing on Game Developers Network Ltd are subject to confirmation by, and the terms and conditions of business of, the relevant company and (c) all transactions are undertaken at your own risk and judgment and that, under no circumstances, can Game Developers Network Ltd be held responsible.

1.3 You should ensure that you are able to make payments to meet the agreed terms with your fellow Game Developers Network Ltd members, in the time frame stipulated and without any national or financial barriers that restrict you from so doing.

2. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

2.1 You may request a cancellation of your company listing within 14 days of commencement for a full refund. If you wish to cancel your listing and claim a refund you must notify us by end of business (17:00 GMT) on the 14th day by emailing tom@gamedevelopersnetwork.biz.

2.2 All refunds will be credited to the credit/debit card or account (less bank charges) to which your listing was charged. Please allow a reasonable time for the refund to be charged back to your card or account. Refunds are not available in respect of company listings cancelled after 14 days of commencement.

3. WITHDRAWAL

3.1 Once your company listing has commenced, you can withdraw it at any time by notifying tom@gamedevelopersnetwork.biz. Fees will not be refunded if withdrawal is after 14 days of commencement.
